POOR DIET DOES more than just shorten your lifespan. Being overweight or eating too much junk food can also lower your sperm count. A study by Harvard Medical School, Boston, discovered that men with a diet high in saturated fats produce significantly less sperm (and weaker quality sperm) than men who ate a healthy, balanced diet.

Sugar-sweetened beverage intake in relation to semen quality and reproductive hormone levels in young men. SSB intake was inversely related to progressive sperm motility.
